I can’t be the only one who’s ever left the intersection right as the light changed and wondered whether or not I’m going to get a ticket in the mail. Here’s a sticker that keeps your plate visibly readable by a police officer, but makes it illegible when photographed from a traffic camera.
If you don’t have one of these stickers or aren’t willing to take the risk, they still might not ticket you.
- If any part of your vehicle has already entered the intersection when the light turns red, you won’t be ticketed.
- If someone else was in the car with you, the photographic evidence may be considered a privacy violation. Just one more reason to carpool.
